Hi everyone, I’m building my 12×8 stand alone sauna, which includes a changing room. interior cedar T/G is going up now and I haven’t decided on how to finish the exterior. Right now its 1/2 OSB. The fastest would be painted T111, though I wonder about the maintenance. Next would be vinyl siding. The vertical plank/batten is another option. I’m open to other ideas, which is why I’m writing here 🙂 Thanks for the help.

I’ll probably not receive beauty points, but I did metal. I think once the soffits are finished it will look good. So far it has worked great, went up easy, kept the rain out nicely. I’m sure someone out there will hate it…
Yea I did house wrap first. Then used the “Grip Fast Hot Dipped Galvanized Rubber Washer Nail” to keep it up. No reason behind the lean-to design, just seemed like the way to go at the time. It goes from about 7 feet up to about 9 feet. Then built the hot-room ceiling at 7 feet. I used steel for the roof as well.
